Don's & Jane's Home Page
Well, hello there. You've found us. Come on in. How's your
so far?
Goodbye, Dave. I love you.
My World Trade Center page is here.
If you were looking for Avera McKennan Hospital and ended up here instead,
try McKennan.org.
My name is Don. This is my Web site. If my wife, Jane, should ever
decide that any of this nonsense amuses her, it will be her Web site, too.
I was, once upon a time...
- a coat-check attendant (for one day);
- a phone book deliverer;
- a dog kennel cleaner;
- a janitor;
- a loading-dock supervisor;
- a film major at NYU, an English major at CUNY, and a graduate of neither;
- an elephant-cage cleaner;
- a wedding photographer (just once);
- a bassist/guitarist/keyboardist/singer in several Jersey Shore/Brooklyn
folk/country/bluegrass/jazz/rock/punk bands you've never heard of.
I am...
- a native New Yorker;
- over fifty years old, against all odds;
- a stagehand;
- in a union, and proud of it;
- currently working on The Lion King at the
Minskoff Theater on Broadway;
- researching my family history;
- a vegetarian;
- still a photographer, at least in my own mind (my cousin Mike, on the other hand, is a real photographer);
- and I will always be a Deadhead;
- spending much more time playing with the computer than Jane would like.
I am not...
- very good at this Web stuff...yet.
I'll have more here soon. Honest. No, really.
